At WomenRock 2021, the Federation of Women Contractors (FWC) presented the Innovation Leadership Award to the IUBDC in recognition of its support for businesses owned by women, people of color and veterans. John O. Hudson III, president and CEO of Nicor Gas, accepted the award on behalf of the IUBDC. The FWC’s annual WomenRock event recognizes organizations who are making a positive impact on women in construction, engineering and related sectors.
